MUSIC
Tommaso Moretti
“Music ABC” class is a full immersion in “song language”; it will start to activate your child’s musical thinking (audiation). Interacting exclusively in a musical way, the teacher and the children investigate the essential elements of music and discover the emotions hidden inside of those. Short tonal and rhythmic songs—extracted from the classical, jazz, and folk repertories of the world—will capture the students’ imaginations as explored through playful activities and body movements.
MOVEMENT
Natalja Aicardi
“My body in space” – is a creative exploration of self and introduction to Lecoq Physical Theatre for young bodies and minds to grow whole. We imagine new spaces, explore our body and voice, play and improvise individually and with the group.
SCIENCES
Dr. Monica Mazzotto
Monica Mazzotto was born in Rome, but she has lived in several cities, both in Italy and abroad. She obtained a degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Turin and a PhD in Biology at the University of Pisa. The deep love for the Sciences and for the Animals, led her approach the scientific disclosure. Journalist for over twenty years, she has collaborated with various Italian newspapers and she worked for the major Italian television channels. Her love for the outreach of Science is second only to her love for Nature and for children; her mission is to cultivate the instinctive passion and curiosity that children have for animals and for Nature. For this reason she is very happy to have the chance to collaborate with the Italian School Enrico Fermi. In her spare time, she loves traveling, going to the theater, and photographing everything that surrounds her, but above all, she loves to visit and photograph abandoned places. One of her favorite quotes is, 'Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better' (Albert Einstein).
